BADMINTON

Venue :  MPH
Badminton in DLSS is a recreational activity. The pupils are taught basic skills such as service, lob, drop and smash. Besides the rules of the game, pupils also learn about sportsmanship and the values of fair play, teamwork and discipline. The basic skills learnt will equip the pupils to play a game of badminton with confidence and also serve as a fun fitness activity.

At De La Salle, Basketball  is one of the character-building sports that fosters courage, fitness, team effort and togetherness. Regular participation not only increases muscular strength and fitness, it can develop mental skills of self-control and discipline.













 


RUGBY

Venue : School Field
Time   : 0745 – 0915 on Wednesdays and Fridays
Day of training/practice : P3 and 6 – Fridays
                                             P4 and 5 – Wednesdays
                                             School Team Training - Selected Thursdays
                                             (2.15 pm - 4.15 pm)

At De La Salle, Rugby is one of the character-building sports that fosters courage, fitness, team effort and togetherness. Regular participation not only increases muscular strength and fitness, it can develop mental skills of self-control and discipline.

Selected School Team Rugby players would get to play friendly games with other schools and participate in annual National Schools Rugby Championships.

Through all these exposures and trainings, we hope to develop our Lasallians sense Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.

VOLLEYBALL

Time   : 0745 – 0915 on Wednesdays and Fridays
Day of training/practice : P3 and 6 – Fridays
                                             P4 and 5 – Wednesdays
Volleyball is a game that requires agility and discipline. 
A team made up of 6 players will help each other to play the ball over the net using the various skills and techniques that they have mastered over hours of training.

WUSHU

                                             P4 - P6 Selected members- Thursdays
Wushu is a traditionalChinese martial art. A person who practices Wushu is more flexible, has better coordination and concentration. Wushu is also a form of self-defence.
