KEY PROGRAMMES IN OUR LEARNING, SERVING, INNOVATIVE AND LASALLIAN COMMUNITY
The Science Department strongly believes that the goal of Science education is to ignite the natural curiosity of Lasallians through inquiry-based learning to cultivate self-directed life-long learners. We aim to prepare every Lasallian for the future world. Every Lasallian is therefore provided opportunities to become a self-directed learner, a confident person, an active contributor and a concerned citizen through the learning of science. With this end in mind, curriculum-based experiences and programmes are planned to engage Lasallians with:
- authentic learning experiences through learning journeys
- joy of learning in designing and innovating with empathetic thinking to serve the last, the lost and the least
- 5E inquiry-based learning to apply skills and processes of inquiry based on investigations
- blended learning to promote self-directed learning
- differentiated instruction to challenge, enrich and support varied learners.
